Sam, un employé de restaurant vivant et travaillant à Hong Kong, se voit obligé de fuir en Afrique du Sud après avoir couché avec la femme de son patron. Là-bas il retrouve du travail dans un restaurant mais est exploité par ses nouveaux employeurs qui le savent en fuite. D'une nature violente Sam viole une femme dans un village africain et contracte le virus Ebola. Son patron et sa femme apprennent l'existence de sa maladie, il les tue et les utilise comme "hamburger" servis à la clientèle, répandant par là-même le virus. Sam décide de rentrer à Hong Kong, bientôt le virus Ebola se diffuse autour de lui et dans la ville.
